Small status update

The svn update seems to have gone well: I just mounted the directory I use in windows in my virtualbox through vboxsf[sic] and everything compiled well after changing two config files. The core tests also run once again which is always nice.

This setup, with the directory on my windows machine but accessible from xubuntu, is working well for me (works with my backup strategy, gives me svn access from both windows and linux and doesn't require any synchronization).

Next up is synchronizing with my benchmark machine (I guess I could try something with a network share but that's probably more trouble than it's worth), compiling and then running the benchmark again.
